Jason Reitman also slated for comedy conference
TORONTO -- The Just for Laughs festival has added "Shaun of the Dead" helmer Edgar Wright, FremantleMedia's Rob Clark and "Ask a Ninja" creators Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine to the lineup for its upcoming Montreal comedy conference.
Wright and fellow filmmaker Jason Reitman will take part in an informal conversation about how to make feature comedies, while Clark, FremantleMedia's senior executive vp production, will deliver a keynote speech on international comedy formatting.
The Just Comedy conference is set to run July 17-18, midway through the Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival.
The festival also announced that it has added stand-up comics Andre-Phillipe Gagnon, Shaun Majumder, Robert Schimmel, Robert Klein, Larry Miller and "Daily Show" correspondent John Oliver to the lineup of its July 23-27 Just for Laughs Toronto Festival.
